Description: This position of Junior Service Engineer (JSE) is mainly an in-house position, but occasional travel might be required. This person will be responsible for various operational activities in the areas of product testing, warehouse/inventory management, shipping & distribution, system repair, after sales support, and troubleshooting. The JSE will interface with the Service Engineers, Sales Manager Netherlands, Office Support Executives, sales people in the Benelux and our other offices in Germany, France, USA and the UK. This to improve the entire CS process and to increase and ensure Telesis’ respected presence in the Benelux and European market.
Reports to: Service Engineers
Qualifications: An engineering or electro-mechanical aptitude. Ability to use test equipment. Must be able to comprehend engineering concepts and designs, including the ability to read blue prints. Receive and process standard and custom orders to ensure on-time delivery. Basic computer skills and software applications. Must be able to prioritize, organize and juggle multiple projects, while following through on all required tasks. Must be very accurate and dependable. Ability to learn and keep abreast of technology. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Two to three years experience in a dynamic, preferably international environment. Fluent in English, German language a plus. Requires a high energy level. Travel might be required.
